Microneedling – also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) – is the new kid on the block for many Hollywood stars. Why? The procedure produces the best skin results one could hope for in the shortest time possible. By going in for an appointment that lasts approximately 15 minutes, one can experience lasting skin benefits. Healthier, firmer, youthful-looking skin, fewer facial lines, fair pigmentation and even better hair growth. Of course, the procedure is fairly costly (costs anything from $500 to $1,100 depending on the neighborhood) and could take longer depending on the results you are looking for, but given the results it produces, many in Hollywood and even out of it seems to think that it is worth its price tag.
Microneedling in and out of Hollywood
Among the first to admit that microneedling was her beauty secret was Jennifer Anniston. Anniston told People back in 2014 that she had heard about microneedling from a facial expert in New York and decided to try it. She fell in love with the results. “It allows the serums and whatever products you’re using to really soak in,” she confessed.
Anniston is one of numerous Hollywood stars who has turned to the regenerative benefits of microneedling to maintain their youthful appearance. Angelina caused an upheaval at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival with her radiant appearance after a session of microneedling. Other celebrities who chose microneedling to maintain glowing, elastic skin include Gwyneth Paltrow, Naomi Watt, Demi Moore and Brad Pitt.
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian and social media celebrity Emily Skye are also notable names tied to microneedling. At different intervals, the two stunning celebrities took to social media to share the microneedling experience with their fans. What fans saw was a procedure that caused little pain and resulted in the undeniably beautiful skin.
